Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers using forklifts and hand jacks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming stock against packing lists and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Material Storage: Organize warehouse space efficiently to ensure quick retrieval and safety compliance.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on handling equipment and report any malfunctions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Documentation: Valid forklift certification is a plus but not required.
- Availability: Must be available for day, night, or weekend shifts as needed.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
