Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and supervise a diverse team of warehouse associates to meet daily production goals.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Schedule routine maintenance for forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly reports regarding productivity, performance, and inventory status.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity.
- Certifications: Valid forklift operator certification is mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
