Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, conducting performance reviews and fostering a positive work culture.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a zero-accident workplace.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance for forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow procedures to maximize efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
- Manage daily shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or operations.
- Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Proven track record of experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Manhattan, or Oracle.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and motivate team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
