Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and inventory control to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, managing logistics partners and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and identify areas for operational improvement and process optimization.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including inventory reports and shift logs.
- Respond to operational issues and emergencies in a calm, decisive manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse management or logistics is a plus, but we value attitude and aptitude.
- Ability to obtain Forklift Certification (training provided upon hiring).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Proficient in using computer systems, MS Office, and warehouse management software.
