Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in proper working condition and report any mechanical issues.
- Accurately receive, count, and stock inventory to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Prepare pallets and packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and weight distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all 5S safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure a seamless transition of operations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage areas.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CDL or forklift certification required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and ability to follow OSHA guidelines strictly.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and logging inventory data.
