Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload freight from trucks, railcars, and shipping containers following standard operating procedures.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on equipment and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and organize stock to optimize warehouse flow.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company safety policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math skills for inventory, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Background: Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
