Job Responsibilities
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the daily workflow, safety compliance, and team management to ensure efficient fulfillment of orders.
Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Direct and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.
- Safety Management: Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory accuracy, and oversee stock organization and rotation.
- Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure forklifts and other machinery are maintained and operational.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred, but not mandatory (willingness to learn is key).
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team and handle conflict resolution.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
