Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, ensuring our operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate forklifts (reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and pallet jacks) to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, sorting, and organizing inventory with high accuracy.
- Loading/Unloading: Load and unload trucks and trailers, ensuring cargo is secured and organized.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on equipment to ensure functionality and report any mechanical issues.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with warehouse managers and team members to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Documentation: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory tracking.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends or evenings if required.
