The Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. We are looking for individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workplace.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Class 1, 3, or 4) to load, unload, and move products safely.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement in designated storage areas.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform daily pre-operation safety checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse floor, adhering to 5S standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging inventory data.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
