Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working order and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Perform inventory counts and document material movements accurately using warehouse management software.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely processing of shipments and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Follow all company policies and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods on concrete surfaces.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights and weekends.
- Basic computer literacy for logging data.
