Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated storage areas to maintain optimal workflow.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards (OSHA compliance).
- Verify accuracy of shipments against packing lists and prepare necessary documentation.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies regarding heavy machinery operation.
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable forklift operation experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Basic computer literacy for logging data or scanning barcodes.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends or nights if required.
