Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (Forklift, Reach Truck, Pallet Jack) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Ensure the safe handling of inventory, adhering to strict weight limits and safety protocols at all times.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock to maximize warehouse space efficiency.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Certification Required: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CFP) is mandatory.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and navigating uneven surfaces.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to read safety labels and inventory tags accurately.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
