Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trailers and trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and workplace regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform manual labor.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a drug screen (background check waived).
- Basic Math: Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not strictly required for qualified candidates.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation to and from work.
