Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to designated storage areas.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and ship orders while maintaining accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by following all safety protocols and company housekeeping standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not always required for entry-level candidates.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform physical labor in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- License: Valid Driver's License and forklift certification (if applicable) are a plus.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work well in a team.
