Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and stocking products according to established protocols.
- Ensure the warehouse floor remains clean, organized, and safe for all employees at all times.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license (Forklift, Reach Truck, or High-Lift experience preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Valid driver's license (not always required but preferred).
