Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
- Supervise and mentor part-time staff to ensure productivity and compliance with safety protocols
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate stock records
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency
- Ensure OSHA compliance and implement safety training programs
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely shipping and receiving
- Prepare daily performance reports and operational metrics
- Resolve operational issues promptly to maintain workflow continuity
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/supervisory experience required
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with ability to train and motivate teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
