Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Retrieve merchandise from shelves or storage areas based on pick lists and prepare items for shipping.
- Packing & Labeling: Pack products securely in boxes or crates, apply shipping labels, and ensure proper weight distribution.
- Inventory Accuracy: Use handheld scanners and inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock records during the picking process.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect items for defects and ensure packaging meets company quality standards.
- Workspace Organization: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk continuously, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order fulfillment and inventory counts.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctual attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse management software quickly.
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly to understand instructions and safety protocols.
- Legal Status: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
