Responsibilities
- Retrieve items from shelves and storage racks based on pick tickets and computer-generated orders.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape) to ensure safe transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping labels and barcodes, ensuring correct sorting.
- Inspect products for defects and damage before packaging to minimize returns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory accurately.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure daily throughput targets are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, picking, packing, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods (8+ hours).
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and move boxes efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and package weighing.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
