Responsibilities
- Accurately locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves using handheld scanners and inventory systems.
- Package products securely using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery to customers.
- Inspect items for damage or defects and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards at all times.
- Process returns and assist with inventory counts during stocktake procedures.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) after obtaining necessary certification.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow pick tickets and safety guidelines.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not strictly required.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Houston facility.
