Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in fast-paced warehouse environment
- Safely move high-value inventory (avg. $50k+ per pallet)
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records via WMS systems
- Train junior operators on safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA certification and valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Forklift certification (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck)
- Experience with high-value inventory handling
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
