Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, carrier selection, and route optimization
- Manage inventory levels and warehouse operations to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent delays
- Collaborate with customs brokers and international partners for cross-border compliance
- Utilize TMS software to track shipments and generate performance reports
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions and weather-related challenges
- Train junior staff on shipping protocols and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination with multi-modal transportation
- Proficiency in TMS software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to make decisive operational judgments
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- BA/BS in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred
- OSHA HazMat certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
