Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes for international and domestic freight
- Manage documentation compliance (customs forms, bills of lading, manifests)
- Liaise with carriers, warehouses, and clients to resolve transit issues
- Optimize routing and scheduling to minimize costs and transit times
- Monitor shipment status through real-time tracking systems
- Train junior coordinators on logistics best practices
- Prepare monthly performance reports for stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping coordination experience in port logistics
- Expert knowledge of INCOTERMS and customs regulations
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- OSHA/FMCSA compliance certification preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure during peak shipping seasons
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
