Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipment processes from order placement to final delivery
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate competitive freight rates
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation (BOLs, customs forms, manifests)
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate warehouse receiving/distribution
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and track real-time shipment status
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for logistics efficiency
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and MS Office
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Forklift certification and OSHA training preferred
