Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and carrier requirements
- Manage inventory control, cycle counts, and warehouse documentation systems
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and carriers to resolve shipping discrepancies
- Optimize shipping routes to minimize costs and delivery times
- Prepare and process commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
- Track shipments proactively and provide real-time status updates to stakeholders
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for logistics workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Expert knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
