Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end shipping process, including scheduling, tracking, and delivery confirmation for domestic and international freight.
- Prepare and verify accurate shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to negotiate rates and resolve delivery issues.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure strict compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and international shipping regulations.
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding shipment status and inquiries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driverβs license and clean driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Associate degree or certification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
