- Coordinate daily inbound/outbound shipments using TMS and WMS systems
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates
- Process customs documentation and compliance paperwork
- Monitor inventory levels and resolve shipping discrepancies
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with warehouse team on loading/unloading schedules
- Implement process improvements for shipping efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in logistics/supply chain management or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in shipping coordination or warehouse operations
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour training preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak seasons
