Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, tracking, and compliance
- Liaise with freight carriers, customs brokers, and warehouse teams to resolve shipment issues
- Optimize routing and freight costs through carrier negotiations and route analysis
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping documentation systems
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations (ITAR, FDA, etc.)
- Manage customer communications regarding shipment status and exceptions
- Analyze logistics data to identify efficiency improvements and cost savings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support complex multi-modal shipments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics or shipping coordination
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certified Customs Broker (CBP) or ISTA certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field required
