Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipment statuses in our ERP system.
- Identify and troubleshoot potential shipping delays or logistical issues proactively.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of freight when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) and logistics software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
