Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all shipping activities and inventory movements within the warehouse management system.
- Track shipments in real-time and troubleshoot any delays or logistical issues proactively.
- Prepare bills of lading, packing lists, and commercial invoices in compliance with international and domestic regulations.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize packing and loading procedures for cost-efficiency.
- Assist in auditing shipping costs and negotiating rates with third-party logistics providers when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics coordination preferred.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with freight classification codes and customs regulations is highly desirable.
