Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Track and optimize freight movements using TMS/WMS systems
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and provide proactive client communication
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory staging
- Monitor carrier performance and negotiate rates periodically
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
- Generate shipping reports and KPIs for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years in shipping/logistics coordination with direct experience
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, LTL/FTL processes, and customs documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong written/oral communication and negotiation abilities
- Relevant logistics certification (CSCMP, CLTD) preferred
