Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities, including order processing, documentation, and carrier scheduling
- Track and manage inventory levels to optimize stock replenishment and minimize delays
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies
- Prepare and maintain shipping records, bills of lading, and customs documentation
- Monitor transportation costs and negotiate favorable rates with carriers
- Implement process improvements to enhance shipping efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading and unloading of shipments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or TMS systems)
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations and documentation
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
