Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and modes
- Generate and manage Bill of Lading, customs forms, and shipping documentation
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS systems and proactively resolve delays
- Optimize routing to minimize costs while meeting delivery SLAs
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for accurate inventory staging
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international trade regulations
- Build carrier relationships through strategic negotiations and performance reviews
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination with LTL/FTL experience
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Descartes, Blue Yonder)
- Expert knowledge of Incoterms, customs clearance, and hazmat protocols
- Strong analytical skills for route optimization and cost analysis
- Exceptional communication abilities for stakeholder coordination
- APICS or CSCP certification preferred
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean MVR record
