Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic/international shipments via air, sea, and ground transport
- Prepare and process shipping documentation (bills of lading, customs forms, manifests)
- Track shipments using logistics software and provide real-time updates to stakeholders
- Negotiate rates with carriers and optimize shipping routes for cost efficiency
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and ensure compliance with DOT/FDA regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams for seamless operations
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations (Incoterms, customs procedures)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- High school diploma; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
