Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities across multiple carriers and transportation modes
- Manage inventory documentation including BOLs, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide proactive status updates
- Resolve logistics disruptions through carrier negotiations and contingency planning
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize loading schedules and dock efficiency
- Conduct regular audits of shipping processes to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with data-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication for client and carrier interactions
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications (CSCP, CLTD) preferred
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
