Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading and commercial invoices.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping logs, inventory levels, and delivery status.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve logistics issues.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal shipping regulations.
- Analyze shipping costs and optimize freight rates to reduce operational expenses.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of freight to ensure safety standards are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan) or MS Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
