Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities across multiple carriers to guarantee on-time delivery
- Manage inventory levels and track shipments via WMS/TMS systems
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms)
- Resolve logistics disruptions through proactive carrier communication
- Analyze shipping performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient load planning
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and industry standards
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or freight management
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong knowledge of LTL/FTL shipping regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with competing priorities
