Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping operations, including carrier selection, freight scheduling, and route optimization
- Prepare and process shipping documentation (bills of lading, customs forms, invoices)
- Monitor shipment tracking and proactively resolve transit delays or discrepancies
- Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment
- Implement cost-saving measures in shipping processes while maintaining service quality
- Manage relationships with freight carriers and negotiate favorable rates
- Generate shipping reports and analyze logistics performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or supply chain management
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or TMS systems)
- Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, documentation requirements, and Incoterms
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Forklift certification preferred
