Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including order processing, documentation, and carrier selection
- Monitor real-time shipment tracking and proactively resolve delivery exceptions
- Collaborate with warehouse teams, carriers, and clients to ensure timely dispatches
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation (bills of lading, customs forms, invoices)
- Optimize routing and freight consolidation to minimize costs and transit times
- Implement and maintain compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
- Analyze shipping metrics and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) or equivalent preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations
- Forklift certification a plus
