Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including order fulfillment, carrier selection, and documentation
- Track and trace shipments in real-time using TMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Optimize freight routes to minimize costs and ensure timely deliveries
- Manage customs clearance documentation for international shipments
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and carrier teams to resolve logistics issues
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and hazardous material regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping coordination or logistics experience
- Proficiency in TMS software and logistics management systems
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, LTL/FTL shipping, and customs procedures
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Forklift certification preferred
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
