Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes, including scheduling, documentation, and carrier selection
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams for timely order fulfillment
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and international partners for cross-border shipments
- Monitor transportation costs and negotiate rates with carriers to optimize logistics spend
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and exceptions while maintaining compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Utilize WMS/TMS systems to track shipments, generate reports, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to provide real-time shipment updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics coordination, or supply chain management
- Proficiency with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of transportation modes, documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices), and compliance requirements
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex shipping scenarios
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred
