Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, optimizing routes and carriers
- Prepare and process shipping documentation (BOLs, customs forms, invoices)
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve delivery delays
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory allocation
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate competitive freight rates
- Implement cost-saving measures in shipping operations
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
