Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes, including order fulfillment, carrier selection, and documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms)
- Monitor shipment status proactively, resolving delays and exceptions through carrier negotiations
- Manage inventory levels and warehouse logistics to prevent stockouts or overstock situations
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to align shipping schedules with client demands
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs while maintaining delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate shipping records and generate performance reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics, shipping coordination, or warehouse management
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations and documentation
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills for client and carrier interactions
- Proven problem-solving abilities in high-pressure scenarios
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10 training a plus
