Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier scheduling
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate rates with 3PL providers to reduce logistics costs
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS systems and proactively resolve transit delays
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory staging and loading
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for shipping KPIs (OTIF, damage rates)
- Manage client communications regarding shipment status and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination with LTL/FTL operations
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active) and MS Excel
- Certified Customs Broker (CBP) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Strong analytical skills with experience optimizing transportation networks
- Excellent problem-solving abilities in high-pressure scenarios
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
