Your Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, drivers, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Manage inventory levels related to shipping materials and equipment.
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to update shipment status and generate reports.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal shipping regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Shipping Coordinator, Logistics Specialist, or in a similar supply chain role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
