Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations, from order processing to final delivery
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates for optimal cost-efficiency
- Oversee documentation compliance (customs, bills of lading, commercial invoices)
- Monitor shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit disruptions
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Analyze shipping data to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking and shipping records in WMS systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics role
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations (IATA, FMC)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for resolving shipment delays
- Excellent verbal/written communication abilities for stakeholder updates
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration
- Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) or equivalent preferred
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-volume environments
