- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments using TMS and WMS systems
- Liaise with carriers to schedule pickups and resolve transit issues
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms)
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive customer updates
- Optimize load planning to maximize trailer capacity
- Collaborate with warehouse team for efficient inventory staging
- Analyze shipping metrics to reduce costs and improve delivery times
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in high-volume environments
- Forklift certification preferred
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field
