Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier selection
- Track and monitor shipments in real-time using logistics software (TMS experience preferred)
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading schedules and inventory rotation
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and proactively address delivery delays
- Maintain accurate shipping records and generate performance reports
- Communicate shipment status to internal stakeholders and external clients
- Implement cost-effective shipping solutions while maintaining service quality
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in logistics/shipping coordination role
- Proficiency with TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or Descartes)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and shipping regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
