Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and modes (air, ocean, ground)
- Manage order fulfillment, documentation (BOLs, customs forms), and compliance with DOT/FDA regulations
- Optimize routing, scheduling, and carrier negotiations to minimize costs and transit times
- Track shipments proactively, resolve delays, and provide real-time status updates to stakeholders
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems and reconcile discrepancies
- Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and customs teams to resolve shipping-related issues
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and MS Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with carriers, clients, and internal teams
- Ability to manage competing priorities and make decisions under pressure
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and clean driving record preferred
