Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities, including order processing, documentation, and carrier selection
- Track shipments in real-time using logistics software and proactively address transit delays
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate packing, labeling, and loading of goods
- Manage customs documentation for international shipments and maintain compliance with regulations
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Act as primary liaison between clients, carriers, and internal departments
- Generate weekly shipping reports and KPI dashboards for management review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Transportation Management)
- Familiarity with Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid California driver's license (preferred)
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (required)
