Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate scheduling and routing.
- Maintain and update shipping records, manifests, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, drivers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in warehouse organization to prevent bottlenecks.
- Process freight claims and resolve shipping discrepancies promptly.
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and shipping software (e.g., UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship) for tracking.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal shipping regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or warehousing.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems and shipping software.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
